The Lodge at Logan Vineyards

When it comes to wedding venues, Kentucky is fortunate to have hundreds of beautiful places you can choose as the backdrop for one of the most important days of your life. We have castles, racetracks, grand hotels, artsy museums, historic homes, gothic churches, and rustic barns. Adding to this impressive list and nestled in the hills of Mercer County is The Lodge at Logan Vineyards. With its 12 acres of rolling Bluegrass, including a pond and row after row of blackberries and grape vines, as well as the charming 12,000 square foot pine log facility, a wedding here will be unforgettable. Having recently opened, you can be one of the first to book your special day at this gorgeous location.

One area hit especially hard during the pandemic was the wedding industry. From the florists to the caterers, DJs, coordinators, formal wear providers and the event spaces themselves, it was an agonizing year that resulted in insurmountable losses. Fortunately, 2021 has proven to be a much better year, with vendors seeing a major uptick in business. However, many aspects of weddings have changed, including the move to micro weddings and socially distanced affairs. Whether your plans are for a small, intimate event or a larger celebration for up to 250 people, The Lodge at Logan Vineyards can host celebrations of all sizes, indoor and outdoor.

The Grand Hall is ideal for the wedding ceremony and has a raised platform and raised seating so everyone has an unobstructed view. The crystal chandeliers and long aisleway will have any bride swooning as she makes her way toward her betrothed. If, however, you’ve always dreamed of getting married outdoors among the vines, the open-air chapel will be your dream come true. Peaceful and serene and overlooking a pond, the chapel is in close proximity to the reception hall, so guests won’t have to trek far to get to the food and drink once you’ve said, “I do”. Whether you have your service indoors or out, you can be assured that it will be a special time that you and your guests will not forget.

Another aspect of The Lodge at Logan Vineyards that you will find desirable is the fact you can choose to bring in your own caterer or use their in-house service called The Swinery. A lot of venues don’t allow you this option, so it’s nice to see The Lodge offer this to their brides. Having had the food from The Swinery, however, I would strongly urge you to let them handle that aspect; it is simply delicious and will satisfy even the hungriest guest. Nothing too extravagant or frivolous, The Swinery provides savory BBQ that is smoked for hours and sides that are the perfect complement: coleslaw, corn on the cob, potato salad, mac and cheese and more. They also offer a pasta bar, taco or fajita bar and other meat options. You can tell they cook their food with love, and on a day where you’re celebrating the love between two people, the food should reflect the same.

It is true that the price of weddings has increased substantially over the past decade, and according to an article by The Motley Fool, it can now easily reach $30,000. Yikes! The good news is it doesn’t have to cost that much, and who wants to start out their marriage in debt? Not smart Kentucky brides! With the many package options at The Lodge at Logan Vineyards, you can have a Saturday wedding and reception for as little as $2650. Move your wedding to a Sunday and you will save even more. The caring staff at The Lodge are eager to help you have your ideal wedding at a budget that will leave you with enough change in your pocket to afford other important things in life like rent and food. Very important!

The Lodge at Logan Vineyards is also happy to connect you with vendors that will make your event even more special. At their recent bridal expo, we met many of these people including DJs, photographers, favor providers, bakers, glam teams, and formal wear suppliers. Here’s a list of a few of them:
