Hi everyone! I’m Larissa Long, and I’m so excited to join Kentucky Taste Buds as a summer and fall intern! I’m a senior at the University of Kentucky majoring in Integrated Strategic Communication, and I’ve lived in Lexington my whole life — so I have a deep love for all things Kentucky.

I’m passionate about storytelling, social media, and celebrating the people and places that make our state feel like home. Whether it’s grabbing brunch at East End Tap and Table, catching a sunset at Jacobson Park, or trying to find the best latte in town (right now I’m hooked on the blueberry pie latte from Old School Coffee), I’m always looking for ways to enjoy and share the local experience.

When I’m not exploring locally, I’m dreaming big — I’ll be heading to Prague this July for a study abroad adventure, and I can’t wait to bring a little international inspiration back to the Bluegrass!

Follow along and turn on notifications to keep up with all the fun, food, and behind-the-scenes moments this season!
