Fall time is always a great time in Kentucky. You begin to see change in the trees and in the weather. It is a perfect time to go on a walk in the park or around the city. Fall is also a time for festivals as well and Kentucky has plenty of them, especially in and around Lexington. The following list is of the upcoming festivals and when and where they are happening:

This event has been happening throughout the year and if you are a fan of art or just starting out in the art world, you still have two chances to attend LexArts HOP. The Midway Fall Festival was voted one of the best festivals in Central Kentucky. There will be many different food, arts and crafts vendors, sorghum and pottery demonstrations, live music, and kids activities. For more information, go to the link above or link here.

“Celebrate all things fall and kick off the harvest season with a down-home celebration for the entire family!” Bring your family to Harvest Fest this fall. Learn about the crops of Pleasant Hill, take a hayride, shop for honey and jams at the Harvest Market, play festival games and much more. For the car lovers out there, we have a great festival for you, join Advance Auto and Cruizin for a Cause for their Fall Fest Car Show. They will be raising money for Toys for Tots through this event. There will be food trucks, music, door prizes, Hot Wheels races for kids, different vendors, and of course the car show. As part of Kentucky Humanities, come to the 41st Kentucky Book Festival. Learn about writing and publishing, discover new books and celebrate reading. There will be more that 150 authors participating in the festival with meet and greets and signings.
