This amazing gown with the dramatic train and sleeve details is everything I look forward to during award season. Lady Gaga is giving off total Cinderella vibes in this shimmering baby blue Valentino Haute Couture gown, topped off with an ornate diamond necklace, and a color-coordinated up-do. Her sleek, dramatic makeup beautifully accentuates her features without distracting from the rest of the look.

Black Panther star Michael B. Jordan looked handsome-as-ever in a custom Burberry ensemble. The tux was a twist on a classic, featuring a wool material and statement lapel. The ultra-polished leather Derby shoes add a bit of interest, while maintaining a totally dreamy sophistication.

Gemma Chan, from Crazy Rich Asians, dazzled in a Valentino Haute Couture gown, featuring a fun high-low hemline with, voluminous silhouette and open-back detailing in a rich blue hue. I love the slight drama and elegance of this look. The gown proves that details make all the difference, the twisted front and perfectly placed gathers throughout the fabric add just the right amount of interest and scream elegance. The exposed shoulder and open-back detailing add a bit of flirtation, yet still look polished. The bright red lip and flushed cheeks were a great choice for a pop of color and to bring out Gemma’s facial features.

The heavily embroidered cut-out lace dress Emily Blunt wore was supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. The star of “Mary Poppins Returns” gave a nod to her Victorian character with this eye-catching piece of art. A see-through corset and uneven hemline sparked interest, and the metallic color was enlivened with bits of pale silver. Her neutral makeup and braided up-do were careful not to compete with the intricacies of the dress. Her jewelry was simple as well…if you call vintage Neil Lane diamonds simple.

Halle Berry continued the “naked dress” theme worn by many celebrities with this deep red gown by Zuhair Murad. The sheer fabric strips that fell to the floor were gathered on one side creating a sky-high slit that brought the eye up to the plunging neckline where her decolletage was the star of show. The back of the dress sported a keyhole. Her ponytail flowed down her back into the cascading train of the dress; it was the perfect choice for showing off the gold triangle earrings. Halle proves once again that she must be a vampire because she never ages and makes me want to hit the gym immediately.

Charlize Theron was stunning in a black and white Christian Dior column dress. I’m typically not a fan of white dresses (unless it’s Say Yes to the Dress), but Charlize proves black and white is a timeless color scheme. The giant black bow around the neck adds a sweetness to the otherwise risque bodice with its slit down the front and no back. Her hair was slicked down and parted on the side as to let the Bulgari jewelry shine. True Hollywood glamour.
